IE series integrating spheres are developed for laser detection, and are mainly divided into refrigerated and no refrigeration integrating spheres.

Cooling laser power measuring ball:
The liquid-cooled laser power measurement sphere includes three sizes of liquid-cooled integrating spheres for performing high-power pulse and continuous wave laser power measurement. The gold-plated high-reflectivity coating is used for measurement in the wavelength range of 700 nm-20μm. The liquid cooling design can handle a maximum power density of 2 kw/cm2 (continuous 1 second exposure 10.6μm), while greatly reducing its own emissions caused by uncooled spheres .

No refrigeration laser power measuring ball:
Independent of the beam geometry and no need for auxiliary optical components, the laser power measuring ball of Taorlab is suitable for collecting the total radiant power emitted by highly divergent light sources (such as laser diodes) and collimating the laser beam. Accurate, repeatable measurements can be made quickly and easily without laborious positioning and alignment procedures. The laser power measurement of the integrating sphere also eliminates the polarization effects that are usually not associated with filter attenuation techniques.
