Raman Laser Research grade laser light source
Recommendations for wavelength selection of commonly used Raman lasers:
1. 532nm laser provides higher energy to bombard the sample structure, thereby generating stronger fluorescence, making it very suitable for inorganic materials;
2. The 785nm laser reduces the fluorescence intensity while taking into account performance and excitation efficiency, provides the best economic performance, and is the best choice for most chemicals;
3. The 1064nm laser has the least fluorescence, but it requires a relatively long acquisition time to obtain a sufficient signal level for analysis. This makes it more suitable for colored and dark materials such as natural products, dyes, oils and colored polymers.
